SubTrack is built with data minimization at its core. We believe that your financial setups and personal subscription tracking choices should remain exclusively yours. Your core subscription transaction values, billing cycles, split ratios, and custom reminders are compiled locally and securely on your own hardware assets.

2. Information We Collect & Process

A. Device Local Storage (The SubTrack App)

All application metrics generated inside SubTrack are written straight into SwiftData persistence containers contextually linked to Apple's sandbox architecture. If you explicitly activate iCloud Sync inside Settings, your data transfers directly over Apple’s encrypted secure cloud architecture to your other personal devices. We do not host outside databases to view or extract this asset log.

B. Feature Requests & Support Form

When you submit metadata payloads via our Feedback Board, your self-declared Name, Email Address, optional Device Details (Model/iOS Version), and Message text are transmitted securely through Formspree infrastructure to the developer stack. This information is uniquely utilized to debug system crashes, triage roadmap components, or address your direct feature inquiries.

C. Privacy-First Analytics

Our support portal leverages Vercel Web Analytics to trace core framework routing. This tracker evaluates anonymized geographic coordinates (e.g., country level), operating system definitions, and general page view distributions. It does not look at tracking cookies or store persistent individual identifier vectors.

3. Third-Party Framework Sub-Processors

We limit our tech stack integrations strictly to established service layers helping to maintain structural site components:

  • Apple iCloud / CloudKit: Provides optional end-to-end multi-device cloud synchronization workflows.
  • Vercel: Manages modern responsive static site deployments, file storage hosting, and generalized site telemetry.
  • Formspree: Encapsulates API post endpoints ensuring secure mail transmission for incoming support requests.

4. Security Framework Guardrails

SubTrack provides deep application armor by incorporating system hooks like Biometric FaceID / Passcode checks. If turned on inside your locally active preferences pane, this barrier validates structural authorization locally right at the platform boot layer before displaying the tracking board.

5. Data Access & Retention Management

Because your metrics data sits strictly on your personal device storage volumes, you retain full ownership over it. Clearing your database logs is simple: either uninstall the app which clears all local data or manually delete your saved subscriptions to ensure no data saved on iCloud remains. For support form submissions, if you wish to have your request data removed from our Formspree inbox, please contact us directly with the email address used in the submission and we will promptly delete it from our records.
